Felicity and Dan met in a bar in Wollongong. Fast forward four years and Dan proposed to Felicity during an evening walk along the beach in exactly the same spot he asked her to be his girlfriend four years earlier. Of course she said yes.
Felicity and Dan chose to get married on the beautiful south coast. They wanted a private and intimate venue for their wedding at a stunning location where they could have both their wedding ceremony and reception. They fell in love with Cambewarra Estate Winery the first time they visited it.
It was important to Felicity and Dan to hire local wedding suppliers so they attended the South Coast Wedding Fair to choose their dream team. They both agree it was an amazing event that gave them the opportunity to chat with many local suppliers.
For their wedding theme Felicity and Dan chose a rustic but clean cut style. They had visions of lots of green foliage, white flowers and timber furniture and props. To make their vision come to life they hired Meraki Event Stylists, who with the help of florist Lily Ever After created something truly magical.
When asked for what advice they would give to other couples getting married they said, “take a moment to breathe! It’s so easy to be swept up in the day but remember it goes by so quickly so take a moment and spend a few minutes with your new husband/wife. We went for a quick walk through the vines just before the sun set to soak up a beautiful moment with each other. Our photographer and videographer captured some amazing images during our walk so that was a bonus”.
