The South Coast Wedding Fair and Trail was first launched in 2016 with the vision of celebrating the beauty of the NSW South Coast and showcasing its incredible wedding venues and talented local vendors.

Our goal was to highlight the vibrant wedding community within the region and make it easier for couples planning a South Coast wedding to find and connect with local suppliers. We also wanted to show that our region stands proudly alongside other popular NSW wedding destinations such as the Hunter Valley and Byron Bay — and we’re proud to say we’ve succeeded.

Over the years, the number of weddings held across the South Coast has grown significantly. We’ve supported the launch of new venues and businesses, helping to strengthen and grow the region’s reputation as one of NSW’s most sought-after wedding destinations.

Originally, the Trail ran over a weekend with the main Wedding Fair held at Pyree. We’ve weathered many challenges over the years — from COVID lockdowns and floods to severe winds — but giving up was never an option. Our commitment to supporting the local wedding community kept us going.

Last year, we faced a new challenge when another business decided to host an outdoor wedding expo just one week prior to our long-announced date. Once again, with the unwavering support of our local vendors, we adapted — securing a new indoor venue and date. The result was an incredible success, with hundreds of brides and grooms attending and glowing feedback from vendors and couples alike about our new location at The Co-Op Gerringong.

We are thrilled to once again host this event — alongside the Wedding Trail and the latest edition of our Weddings On The South Coast Magazine.
